Seated in the heart of “Beef Country”, Miles City earned its place in history in 1876 at the confluence of the Yellowstone and Tongue Rivers by attracting frontiersmen, soldiers, tradesmen and settlers. It is the largest city in southeastern Montana, with a population of 8300+, we serve as the commerce and medical hub for the region, providing needed services in a wide range of categories.  We also house District offices of BLM, Fish Wildlife & Parks, a Federal Agricultural Experimental Station (Fort Keough), as well as being the headquarters for Montana’s largest bank, Stockman Bank. Miles City’s Medical base includes Holy Rosary Healthcare, a comprehensive acute-care hospital that serves an 11-county region of eastern Montana, Billings Clinic/Miles City and OneHealth, providing Primary Care, Dental, Pharmacy, Behavioral Health services to people of any age, ethnicity, income or insurance status.
